Skin Salvation Intensive Moisturising Ointment is Purepotions’ flagship natural emollient product, formulated originally to provide pure, gentle but intensive hydration for dry skin. Its mild and natural formulation means it is also suitable for those who may be prone to allergies, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and other dry or itchy skin conditions.
The ointment is a thick, rich, beeswax-based salve, with organic hempseed, safflower and olive oils and biodynamic herbal tinctures of calendula, chamomile, nettle and chickweed. The salve is designed to lock in moisture and provide a barrier from external irritants. The hempseed oil we use is particularly rich in Omegas 3-6, the essential fatty acids which dry skin often lacks, so long-term use will nourish the skin with the nutrients and oils needed to for the skin's natural cycle of constant regeneration and keep it in smooth, soft and supple condition!
It can be used as a general, all-purpose moisturising balm for dry skin anywhere on the body, as a primer under make-up, for moisturising chapped lips and noses in the winter, cracked heels and thirsty skin in the summer. It is suitable for all ages and all skin types.
