Bought this for my daughter whose eczema reacts badly to most sun creams on the market. Very pleased to report that she did not have a reaction to Balmonds SPF 30, so I will be buying more. Are you developing an SPF 50?
Hi Tracy, When making our new sunscreens, we had to tread the path between effectiveness and usability: too high a percentage of zinc in a natural sunscreen formula means the cream can be heavy and leave a white cast on skin. Too little and the protection isn’t adequate.
It’s said that the most effective SPF is one that you like using and will reapply frequently through the day, and Factor 30 is generally considered enough protection even in the summer. SPF30 will filter out around 97% of harmful UVB rays, providing substantial defence against sunburn, skin damage, and premature aging. Factor 50 only blocks one percentage more (98%) of harmful rays, so for us, user-friendliness wins the day. And whether it’s SPF30 or 50, it’s still important to reapply your sunscreen regularly, especially after activity or swimming.
I was recommended Skin Salvation 6 months ago and I couldn’t be more thankful. It has helped me mange mine and my son’s eczema with results showing within a week. It can be used for everything, lip balm, hand cream a solution for psoriasis. Couldn’t recommend more
My horse has tendency for dry cracked skin on the back of his ‘knees’ I was looking for a non steroid balm, lotion does not seem to be emollient enough. So far it seems to be softening and healing well. I can remove the dry dead skin more easily once washed (with medicated shampoo) and the balm applied. If he’s happy I’m happy
I’ve been using this for 2 days and already it’s calmed my flare up and instantly moisturised the dry and itchy eczema on my hands! You can see how swollen and dry my hands look in the pics (not even the worst tbh!) I’ve used it before but completely forgot how good it was (due to falling back into the steroid cream habit). I’m making a conscious effort to not use steroid creams anymore and this is really helping. It’s oily going on but dries down quickly and keeps moisture locked in for a good few hours!! I suffer with chronic eczema on my face, hands, arms, legs and chest. This is now a holy grail product and I want to try more of the range!
At last! I am so glad I tried this moisturiser, as it has completely cleared up my sore, dry skin areas around my chin,mouth. I had been so self-conscious of them & had tried many sensitive- skin moisturisers previously with no relief. Now I have a regular subscription of Balmonds set up and no sign of any problem skin areas any more. Thank you from an extremely grateful middle-aged menopausal woman
Really nice, extremely gentle facecwash on my very sensitive skin. I wish though they did it in a larger size, so it would last longer. But an excellent safe and no nasty's facecwash.

This is the only thing that soothes and manages my scalp psoriasis. Nothing from the GP works but this lovely stuff is a bit of a miracle.
I love this cream. It helps soothe my very dry and sore skin and it absorbs really well. I love that this brand has no “nasties”. My only issue is getting the last bits of the cream out of the bottle. Otherwise I would have given five stars.
Really effective and keeps the skin moisturised
One of the things that I really like about this suncream is that it is easy to apply and that it is the right consistency.
My husband usually does not like natural mineral suncream, because the ones I have bought in the past have been too greasy and hard to apply. With this one, however, he found it very easy to apply and was willing to put it on and reapply. He said that there was no unpleasant smell, also.

Great, brought for my daughter who has sensitive skin, she says the cream smells like beer 😂 but any which way the wash, cream and oil all suit her skin, no irritation, no rash, no stinging doesn’t flare her eczema up or cause itching!!! Highly recommended!!!
Not convinced on it for my hair as has left quite an oily residue. It's fine for body wash however.
I use1-2 presses/ squirts of this oil after every hair wash and extra doses of the oil after hair dye to counteract the chemicals every 6 weeks. As a female in my mid 40’s I can feel my hair thinning and wanted a product that will keep my hair nourished and keep growing - Balmonds does this. It’s a beautiful smell, not overly sticky . I keep this product in between washes to maintain the nourishment in my hair.
I use this daily and it’s so good. Very light and not greasy at all. A little goes a long way! Highly recommend
