New Beeswax - Same Skin Salvation!

New Beeswax - Same Skin Salvation!

New Beeswax - Same Skin Salvation!

As a brand that cares deeply about the natural ingredients we use in our skincare, we regularly review our suppliers, prioritising sustainability, quality, and effectiveness when choosing what goes into our products.

We recently changed suppliers for our sustainably sourced beeswax, moving from a farm based in Sussex to beekeepers in Wales.

We use minimally processed beeswax in our formulations, which means it retains its characteristic scent and colour through the balm-making process. Because there are regional variations in the pollen that British bees collect from wildflowers, heather or blossom, sourcing beeswax from different parts of the country can mean there are slight differences in the scent and colour of the end product.

We’ve heard that people find our new beeswax makes a balm that is more sweetly honey-scented and with a lighter golden colour than the previous grassy scented, green-tinged Skin Salvation.

Everything else about Skin Salvation is unchanged: we still make it to the exact same formula, and it is still the gentle, effective barrier balm it always has been, made with the same organic oils and tinctures.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions about our ingredients.
